The Exchange is for students in Middle and High School. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. We spend time in each of the 4 basic practices of the church: Fellowship, Prayer, Worship, and Bible Study.
Our goal is simple:
[list_circle] [li]To share The Gospel of Jesus Christ with our students[/li]
[li]To help them understand The Gospel and how it relates to every area of our lives[/li]
[li]To equip them to share The Gospel with others[/li] [/list_circle]
We strive to do this through relevant preaching and small group bible study. Sharing the Gospel with the world is God’s mission for us. We want the students to know and believe that they can be used by God RIGHT NOW.
Our culture says that they are too young, too immature, and not responsible enough to do anything serious. We don’t believe those lies. All throughout the Bible, it was the younger generations that sparked revival and spiritual awakening.
In case you were wondering, our name is a reference to the exchange that takes place when someone repents and puts their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:21 says: “For He (The Father) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Jesus takes our sin and shame upon himself and in exchange we receive His righteousness – Justified in the eyes of God and forgiven of all our sins.
