The South Carolina KKK says, this Saturday, they’re having a rally at Clearwater’s Harrison-Caver Park, with or without a permit. They tell us they’ve been lied to about the booking of the park. But, if one church has it their way, the KKK won’t rally at all, especially since they said they were the one’s who rented the park out all day. WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop reports.

Pastor Canipe: “The only cross we’re celebrating this weekend is the cross of Jesus Christ and his resurrection.”

There is a sign up sheet set up for any young couples interested in attending a marriage building Bible Study. We plan to meet once a month at alternating homes. We will be covering “The Love Dare” group devotional plan. This will be an adults only session so please make arrangements for child care. Please see Wanda Calhoun for details.

Our next meeting will be Saturday, August 28 at 4:30pm at Tony and Stephanie Barton’s house 195 Tennis Ranch Road, Jackson. CHILDCARE will be next door at Dennis and Betsy Barton’s house. Everyone chips in some money for the babysitters. We will eat after the session–this time, it’s Italian night. Tony will call those on the list the Wednesday August 25th to finalize food items. If you haven’t signed up, see Ben and Wanda Calhoun or Tony and Stephanie Barton.
