Ron Easler – Church Administrator
Biography
Ron’s earliest memories are as a youngster at church with his grandmother. Ron spent much of his childhood with grandparents because both his parents worked. Their spiritual training provided the guidance that kept him grounded during childhood and led him to accept Christ as a teenager. Ron joined the Air Force in 1971 where he served as a Language Instructor in Viet Nam and an air traffic controller. He became a deacon at 1st Presbyterian Church in Augusta in 1976 and later served as an Elder. He was an educator in Richmond and Columbia Counties for 30 years and retired from Evans High School in 2003. Ron joined Heights Church in 1998 where he served as a Deacon and became a staff member in August of 2007. Ron and Vivian have been privileged to see the Hand of God work mightily in two distinct ministries in this area. “It is a blessing to be able to serve God and work with Godly men and women.”
Ron is married to Vivian Smart Easler who has been an educator for 25 years in Richmond and presently Columbia County. They have two married, adult children, Mark and Sarah.
